Service Description

This workshop is designed for partners/parents/caregivers of people suffering from Emotional Dysregulation. The aim of the workshop is to provide an understanding of the emotional and behavioural presentation through Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) lenses. The duration of the workshop is 1 day and will be conducted online via Zoom. Outline of the workshop • What is Emotional Dysregulation? • Emotional pain/Behavioural challenges • Discussion • What is DBT? • Core of the DBT Programme: Mindfulness, Distress tolerance, emotional regulation and interpersonal effectiveness • Tips – how to support someone suffering from emotional dysregulation Learning outcomes • Understanding Emotional Dysregulation • How Dialectical Behaviour Therapy works and what to expect from the DBT Programme. • How loved ones can best support a client that is taking part in a DBT Programme. Date for Workshop: 09/09/23 from 9:30 to 16:30. The cost of the workshop is €110 per participant. There’s space for 14 participants maximum with a minimum of 8 participants. Should 8 participants not be reached the Phoenix Centre will re-imburse withing the 3 working days after decision of cancellation is made. Close off for booking: Friday 01/09/23 @ 17:00.
